Deck
I am writing this in reference to a deck I had built by Capital Builders last summer. First off, our deck is beautiful. It is exactly what we wanted. The owner of Capital Builders, Dave McAleer, sat down with us & showed us multiple plans we could choose from as well as pictures from previous decks he had built until we found the one that suited our needs. Once building was under way it was done in a timely fashion & with excellent craftsmanship. They are extremely professional, we would use them again and have recommended them to our friends.

I would like to thank you so much for the work you did for me! My old deck was attached to my house, which meant when people walked on the deck you could feel it inside my home. This was a constant source of aggravation and I thought it was something I would have to live with for another 25 years. But after asking Capital Builders to come look at my problem, I was given a solution............. They could build me a NEW deck, which would be totally unattached to my home. This meant a LOT of footers in concrete, but boy is there a difference. My grandchildren can now ride their bikes and scooters on my deck and inside, NOTHING! I love it. Wish I had asked for a new deck years ago. But I cannot thank Capital Builders enough for the wonderful job they did.

Addition & Garage
Capital Builders has done numerous projects for us over the years. We had them build a family room, an attached 2 1/2 car garage with lots of storage space above. Everything is insulated and heated. Previous to that, they installed windows through out our whole house, a new roof and vinyl siding with shaker cedar shingles on the front of our house. They have built 2 outdoor sheds and a retaining wall for one of our ponds.
They have always given us very fair and competitive prices, and have always arrived on time every morning. One of the things that we really like about their whole crew is that no one smokes, drinks or uses bad language on the job. That is a nice plus when you have children around.
We have been very happy with all of the work that has been done over the years, so much so that we are planning to have them do a sun room and another outdoor shed in the spring. We are putting our request in early so we can be sure that Capital Builders can pencil us in as one of their 1st spring projects.

Finished Basement
I was very pleased with the work that Capital Builders performed finishing my basement. They listened to my requests to make sure electrical and lighting were exactly where I wanted. They were truly a one stop shop, as they handled everything...electrical, lighting, framing, drywall, painting, trim, and carpeting. Highly recommended.

Having a very sloped back yard, I was uncertain if I could ever have a nice, safe, flat play area for my children to play. Dave at Capital Builders was able to provide me with the design and drawings needed for me to visualize this and and to help make this happen. He was able to provide the necessary equipment to level a large area and build the necessary retaining walls with drainage that allowed me to put a large swing set and play area in my back yard just as I had hoped. I have received many compliments on the work that was done and my expectations were far exceeded.
